No "Natural Flavors" No Silicon Dioxide Real Fruit Powder No Maltodextrin 3rd Party Tested Made in the USA

The Standard

Two words hide
almost everything.

Look at the back of nearly any supplement, sports drink, or protein powder on the shelf. You'll find the same two words: natural flavors.

Under FDA rules, that single term can stand in for a long list of flavoring substances — and none of them have to be named individually. It's legal. It's everywhere. And it means you're rarely told what you're actually drinking.

Why everyone uses them

Flavor systems are cheap, shelf-stable, and taste identical in every batch. They make a mediocre formula palatable and hide the taste of real minerals.

Why we don't

Because you should be able to read our label and know exactly what's in it. We use real fruit powder and monk fruit — named, disclosed, nothing hiding behind a category.

Formulating without them took longer, cost more, and made the taste subtler.

We did it anyway.

So here's what that actually looks like.

It doesn't dissolve instantly.
That's the point.

Fillers make powder vanish in water. We don't use them. A few extra shakes — and nothing your stomach has to fight.

Why We Exist

If you want something
that tastes good,
eat candy.

Supplements aren't dessert. They're something you put in your body every day for the rest of your life. We think that deserves a higher standard than the one the industry settled for.

Why don't we use "natural flavors"?

Because it's a category, not an ingredient. Under FDA rules, those two words can cover a long list of flavoring substances without naming a single one of them. It's legal and nearly universal — and it means the label tells you almost nothing.

We use real fruit powder and monk fruit instead. Both are named on our label. Both are things you could recognize. That's the whole point.

Why is it so hard to make supplements this way?

Real fruit powder is difficult to source in bulk and expensive when you find it. That's the easy part.

The hard part is manufacturing. Fillers and flow agents like silicon dioxide exist because they keep powder moving through machinery. Without them, product absorbs moisture, clumps, and jams equipment. Every step has to be controlled far more tightly — humidity, timing, packaging, handling.

Most companies aren't unwilling to make a formula like this. They're unable to do it at scale. That's why the shelf looks the way it does.

So why doesn't it taste like everything else?

Because everything else is engineered to. Flavor systems and sweeteners exist to mask what minerals actually taste like. Strip them out and you're left with the real thing — subtler, earthier, less like a candy drink.

We'd rather improve taste honestly, over time, than reach for the shortcut. We're working on it. We're not going to solve it by adding back the things we removed.

What does "third-party tested" actually mean here?

It means an independent lab — not us — verifies what's in the pouch matches what's on the label. Dose accuracy, purity, contaminants.

Everything is made in a GMP-certified, FDA-registered facility in the USA. The certifications on our packaging aren't decoration; they're the minimum bar for putting something in your body daily.

Why do clinicians share Modern Fuel with their patients?

736 clinicians share Modern Fuel on FrontrowMD without compensation. They aren't paid, sponsored, or given equity to do it.

They recommend it for the same reason we made it: the formula is fully disclosed, the doses are meaningful, and there's nothing in it that has to be explained away.

Where is this going?

Recovery+ is the first product, not the goal. We're building an entire line held to one standard: real fruit powder, real ingredients, no fillers, no flow agents, no silicon dioxide, nothing hiding behind a category name.

Daily Hydration and Carb Fuel are next. After that, more — until there's a full shelf of supplements you can take without wondering what else came with them.

Supplements should make you healthier. Not just taste like they might.
